We contend against a corrupt bureaucracy who to date do not want to take full and total responsibility for Vietnam Veterans loss of "quality of life"....

Some Vietnam Veterans have capitulated to the bureaucratic process of denial and delay.

However there is a major ground swell of Veterans who do not and will not capitulate.

Not only did Agent Orange defoliate the Vietnamese environment - it stripped the lives of humans.

Crimehurts.org put to Work Cover New South Wales the question Toxic sprays in the work place and the ramifications to an employer who exposed his employees to these toxic chemicals. Crimehurts.org I was told the employer would be either; “jailed or fined. Crimehurts.org asks this question? Vietnam Veterans believe on this basis we should seek the prosecution of the Australian, New Zealand and American Governments for their roles in exposing their servicemen and women & civilians to toxic chemicals which they knew were harmful to humans.

For the New Zealand Veterans the compounding factor being this toxic chemical was produced in their own country for the American Government for the Vietnam War; and to compound the insult to this injury the government and DOW chemical’s denied such activities for over 20 years until a retired CEO of the company at the time of production came forward and told the truth that they made huge quantities for the Vietnam War, shipping the compounds in two separate mixes drums of 254t and drums of 24d, all that was needed to make agent orange from these two was mix in equal parts and stir.

The Patron of Crime Hurts (Clarence Pita Ormsby JP NSW) tells his “whilst on a patrol in Vietnam my mates & I were in a rubber plantation when an Australian plane flew overhead dropping the sprays. As it fell to the ground the stench was extremely suffocating.We had to cover our faces and the spray also made our eyes sting. Many of my Vietnam War mates have died at early ages and I myself at 62 suffer the effects of that exsposure, this toxic chemical toxic has impacted my health to the extent it feels like like being on Death Row "Sentenced to Death with the torturous execution process being a protracted slow death applied.

One of those mates came to another friend’s wedding in Sydney when he took me outside and told me he was dying and that he was in a lot of pain. He was crying in distress saying; "Veterans Affairs would not help him".

As a voluntary welfare officer Clarence took his case on, and arranged to get the Veterans health reports from Heidelberg repatriation hospital in Melbourne and forward them to New Zealand Veterans Affairs.

The Veterans claim of his war service illness being cancer and post traumatic stress disorder was acceptance. Unfortunately the Veteran died some weeks later& sadly before the news came through to the Veteran and his wife and family.
